Voestalpine has started operations at its pilot plant in Linz, Austria, for carbon-neutral production of hydrogen, taking a significant step towards making the project commercially viable.
The plant has capacity of more than 6 MW and will test whether the technology can produce green hydrogen via electrolysis suitable for use on an industrial scale.
