By Rob Fuhrman / November 19, 2018 / www.youtube.com / Article Link

Society encourages self-promotion and the pursuit of individuality as we each try to stand out from the crowd. Rap artist Rob Bradley gives a thought-provoking performance as he questions who really benefits from this and asks whether it is time to stop focussing on the self and instead use our talents for the benefit of all. Rob Bradley is a poetic rapper and storytelling songwriter. He has performed around the world, from basement clubs in New York to festivals throughout Europe, and collaborated with international artists and songwriters along the way. He's built a solid fan-base andreputation as an astute lyricist, captivating storyteller and unrivalled improviser, in fact he's a freestyle rap world champion. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
