World silico-manganese output rises 3.1% m-o-m in Oct, IMnI says

Global silico-manganese production grew by 3.1% month on month to around 1.54 million tonnes in October on higher output in all regions except Europe, the latest data from the International Manganese Institute (IMnI) shows.

The October output, following consecutive month-on-month gains of 3.3% and 0.6% in September and August respectively, also registered a fall of 1.3% year on year, the IMnI data showed.
Silico-manganese output in Africa and the Middle East surged by 75% month on month to 23,000 tonnes in October.
